Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Fairmont Heights Hornets (Capitol Heights, MD) and the host Crossland Cavaliers (Temple Hills, MD), saw Fairmont Heights's basketball squad wallop Crossland by a tally of 79-51.

With the victory, Fairmont Heights improves its record to 9-2 on the campaign. The Hornets host Surrattsville (Clinton, MD) to play the Hornets in a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 1-8.
