Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Potomac Wolverines (Oxon Hill, MD) and the host Fairmont Heights Hornets (Capitol Heights, MD), saw Potomac's basketball squad hold off Fairmont Heights by a tally of 69-65.

With the victory, Potomac improves its record to 12-5 on the campaign. The Wolverines host Crossland (Temple Hills, MD) to play the Cavaliers in a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A challenge on Thursday, February 2. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a record of 1-17. Crossland lost 66-28 in their recent league challenge against Oxon Hill (Oxon Hill, MD)

Next up, the Hornets play the Gwynn Park Yellowjackets (Brandywine, MD) in a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A challenge, on Thursday, February 2.
