In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Potomac Wolverines basketball team scored a good 49-36 triumph over the Friendly Patriots.

In their next game, the Wolverines meet the Oxon Hill Clippers (Oxon Hill, MD) in a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A match, on Thursday, January 19. Potomac will attempt to move on its 8-5 season record. The Clippers enter the match with a 12-1 record after their 72-66 league win over Douglass (Upper Marlboro, MD).
