Maryland High School Basketball - Friendly knocked off by Central
January 10, 2023: Fort Washington, MD 20744 The Central Falcons basketball team scored 59 points and held the host Friendly Patriots to 45 in the Falcons league triumph on Tuesday.
The Falcons now sport a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Douglass for a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A contest on Thursday, January 12. Central will battle a Eagles team coming off a 61-58 league loss to Largo (Upper Marlboro, MD). The Eagles record now stands at 6-7.
The Patriots (1-8) will now prepare for their contest against Oxon Hill (Oxon Hill, MD). The Clippers enter the Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A contest with a 10-1 record. In their last contest, Oxon Hill ran past Surrattsville (Clinton, MD), 60-23, in a league contest.
