The Largo Lions (Upper Marlboro, MD) basketball crushed the visiting Central Falcons (Capitol Heights, MD), 77-43 in Tuesday's league test.

The Lions (5-2) will now prepare for their test against Friendly (Fort Washington, MD). The Patriots go into the Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A test with a 1-5 record. In their last test, Friendly was trounced by Eastern (Washington, DC), 47-44, in a non-league test.

The Falcons now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they host Gwynn Park for a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A test on Thursday, January 5. Central will encounter a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 58-42 league win over Potomac (Oxon Hill, MD). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 4-6.
