Illinois High School Basketball - Flanagan-Cornell holds off Fisher

Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Flanagan-Cornell Falcons (Flanagan, IL) and the host Fisher Bunnies (Fisher, IL), saw Flanagan-Cornell's basketball squad hold off Fisher by a tally of 48-45.

With the victory, Flanagan-Cornell improves its record to 11-13 on the campaign. The Falcons host Lowpoint-Washburn (Washburn, IL) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 2. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 12-13. Lowpoint-Washburn lost 72-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Cornerstone Christian (Bloomington, IL)

Next up, the Bunnies confront the Eureka Hornets (Eureka, IL) in a Heart of Illinois challenge, on Friday, February 3. Fisher will attempt to improve on its 3-18 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 18-5 record after their 70-49 league win over Tremont (Tremont, IL).
