December 20, 2022: Minonk, IL 61760 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Fieldcrest Knights (Minonk, IL) and the visiting Flanagan-Cornell Falcons (Flanagan, IL), saw Fieldcrest's basketball squad wallop Flanagan-Cornell by a tally of 60-31.
With the victory, Fieldcrest improves its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Henry-Senachwine (Henry, IL) to confront the Mallards in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 9. The Mallards come into the challenge with a record of 3-9.
Next up, the Falcons confront the Reed-Custer Comets (Braidwood, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 26. Flanagan-Cornell will attempt to improve on its 6-5 season record. The Comets come into the challenge with a 7-1 record after their 54-38 non-league win over Gardner-South Wilmington (Gardner, IL).
