Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, IL) and the visiting Fieldcrest Knights (Minonk, IL), saw Lexington's basketball squad overcome Fieldcrest by a tally of 66-57.

With the victory, Lexington improves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Minutemen travel to Deer Creek-Mackinaw (Mackinaw, IL) to confront the Chiefs in a Heart of Illinois challenge on Friday, December 2. The Chiefs come into the challenge with a record of 0-3. Deer Creek-Mackinaw lost 65-35 in their recent non-league challenge against Eureka (Eureka, IL)

Next up, the Knights confront the Dwight Trojans (Dwight, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 12. Fieldcrest will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
