January 24, 2023: Minonk, IL 61760 The Tremont Turks basketball team (Tremont, IL), was overwhelmed 64-41 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Fieldcrest Knights (Minonk, IL)
The Knights now possess a 17-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ridgeview for a Heart of Illinois battle on Friday, January 27. Fieldcrest will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 60-50 league loss to Lexington (Lexington, IL). The Mustangs record now stands at 7-17.
The Turks (13-9) will now prepare for their battle against Flanagan-Cornell (Flanagan, IL). The Falcons come into the Heart of Illinois battle with a 10-12 record. In their last battle, Flanagan-Cornell trounced Earlville (Earlville, IL), 47-44, in a non-league battle.
