Illinois High School Basketball - Fieldcrest crushes Heyworth
February 10, 2023: Heyworth, IL 61745 Fieldcrest Knights (Minonk, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Heyworth Hornets (Heyworth, IL), 68-44 in a league bout.
With the win, Fieldcrest upgrades its record to 22-7 on the season. The Knights host Eureka (Eureka, IL) to clash with the Hornets in a Heart of Illinois bout on Tuesday, February 14. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 22-5. Eureka won 45-42 in their recent non-league bout against Routt Catholic (Jacksonville, IL)
Next up, the Hornets clash with the Delavan Panthers (Delavan, IL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 14. Heyworth will attempt to upgrade on its 18-11 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 13-15 record after their 46-34 league loss to Illini Bluffs (Glasford, IL).
