New Jersey High School Basketball - Overbrook nips Glassboro
January 31, 2023: Pine Hill, NJ 08021 Overbrook Rams (Pine Hill, NJ) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Glassboro Bulldogs (Glassboro, NJ), 56-53 in a league bout.
With the victory, Overbrook upgrades its record to 15-4 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Penns Grove (Carneys Point, NJ) to play the Red Devils in a Tri-County - Diamond bout on Thursday, February 2. The Red Devils come into the bout with a record of 7-11. Penns Grove won 52-49 in their recent league bout against Woodstown (Woodstown, NJ)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Schalick Cougars (Pittsgrove, NJ) in a Tri-County - Diamond bout, on Thursday, February 2. Glassboro will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record. The Cougars come into the bout with a 2-16 record after their 70-40 non-league loss to Pennsville Memorial (Pennsville, NJ).
