New Jersey High School Basketball - Overbrook holds off Glassboro
January 5, 2023: Glassboro, NJ 08028 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Overbrook Rams (Pine Hill, NJ) and the host Glassboro Bulldogs (Glassboro, NJ), saw Overbrook's basketball squad hold off Glassboro by a tally of 62-56.
With the victory, Overbrook improves its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Rams host Penns Grove (Carneys Point, NJ) to confront the Red Devils in a Tri-County - Diamond challenge on Monday, January 9. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a record of 3-5. Penns Grove won 53-37 in their recent non-league challenge against Pennsauken Tech (Pennsauken, NJ)
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Seneca Golden Eagles (Tabernacle, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 7. Glassboro will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Golden Eagles come into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 53-46 league win over Cherry Hill West (Cherry Hill, NJ).
