The Halifax Academy Vikings topped the host Southampton Academy Raiders basketball team by a final score of 66-56 in Tuesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Vikings face the Oakwood Eagles (Greenville, NC) in a NCISAA Carolina Independent game, on Friday, February 3. Halifax Academy will attempt to move on its 12-6 season record. The Eagles enter the game with a 2-13 record after their 60-41 non-league loss to Ridgecroft (Ahoskie, NC).
