The Mays Raiders basketball team (Atlanta, GA), was nudged 72-67 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Tri-Cities Bulldogs (East Point, GA)

The Bulldogs now possess a 13-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Midtown for a AAAAA Region 5 battle on Friday, February 3. Tri-Cities will confront a Knights team coming off a 63-56 league loss to Creekside (Fairburn, GA). The Knights record now stands at 7-14.

The Raiders (15-6) will now prepare for their battle against Chapel Hill (Douglasville, GA). The Panthers come into the AAAAA Region 5 battle with a 14-7 record. In their last battle, Chapel Hill held off Banneker (College Park, GA), 70-34, in a league outing.
