Georgia High School Basketball - Tri-Cities edges Midtown

January 7, 2023: Atlanta, GA 30309

The Tri-Cities Bulldogs (East Point, GA) basketball nipped the host Midtown Knights (Atlanta, GA), 76-71 in Saturday's league test.

The Bulldogs (6-7) will now prepare for their test against Villa Rica (Villa Rica, GA). The Wildcats go into the AAAAA Region 5 test with a 4-6 record. In their last test, Villa Rica was tipped by Creekside (Fairburn, GA), 59-53, in a league test.

The Knights now own a 4-10 record. They play next when they travel to Mays for a AAAAA Region 5 test on Tuesday, January 10. Midtown will encounter a Raiders squad coming off a 68-47 league win over Chapel Hill (Douglasville, GA). The Raiders record now stands at 9-4.
