The Panther Creek Catamounts basketball team scored 70 points and held the host Middle Creek Mustangs to 46 in the Catamounts league triumph on Tuesday.

The Catamounts now sport a 14-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Green Level for a 4A Conference 29 contest on Friday, February 3. Panther Creek will battle a Gators team coming off a 55-49 league loss to Holly Springs (Holly Springs, NC). The Gators record now stands at 15-6.

The Mustangs (6-15) will now prepare for their contest against Apex (Apex, NC). The Cougars enter the 4A Conference 29 contest with a 5-15 record. In their last contest, Apex was routed by Apex Friendship (Apex, NC), 47-46, in a league contest.
