January 31, 2023: Eugene, OR 97402 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the North Medford Black Tornado (Medford, OR) and the host Willamette Wolverines (Eugene, OR), saw North Medford's basketball squad overcome Willamette by a tally of 53-42.
With the victory, North Medford improves its record to 5-12 on the campaign. The Black Tornado host South Eugene (Eugene, OR) to confront the Axe in a 6A Southwest challenge on Friday, February 3. The Axe come into the challenge with a record of 9-9. South Eugene lost 89-74 in their recent league challenge against South Medford (Medford, OR)
Next up, the Wolverines confront the Grants Pass Cavemen (Grants Pass, OR) in a 6A Southwest challenge, on Friday, February 3. Willamette will attempt to improve on its 7-12 season record. The Cavemen come into the challenge with a 10-7 record after their 44-30 league loss to Sheldon (Eugene, OR).
