January 31, 2023: South Boston, VA 24592 In Tuesday's non-league outing, the George Washington Eagles (Danville, VA) basketball squad nipped the host Halifax County Comets (South Boston, VA), by a margin of 42-41.
The Eagles (9-2) will now prepare for their outing against Patrick County (Stuart, VA). The Cougars go into the non-league outing with a 11-9 record. In their last outing, Patrick County was tipped by Tunstall (Dry Fork, VA), 54-33, in a non-league outing.
