California High School Basketball - Escondido Adventist Academy overwhelmed by Coastal Academy
January 31, 2024: Escondido, CA 92029 The Escondido Adventist Academy Hawks basketball team (Escondido, CA), was overwhelmed 65-32 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting Coastal Academy Stingrays (Oceanside, CA)
The Stingrays now possess a 13-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Liberty Charter for a non-league battle on Friday, February 2. Coastal Academy will confront a Lions team coming off a 53-46 league win over Chula Vista Learning Community Charter (San Diego, CA). The Lions record now stands at 5-13.
The Hawks (6-14) will now prepare for their battle against Tri-City Christian (Vista, CA). The Eagles come into the Ocean battle with a 17-10 record. In their last battle, Tri-City Christian was overwhelmed by Point Loma (San Diego, CA), 55-50, in a non-league battle.
