California High School Basketball - Guajome Park Academy can't hold off Coastal Academy
December 15, 2023: Oceanside, CA 92056 The Coastal Academy Stingrays basketball team scored 48 points and restricted the visiting Guajome Park Academy Frogs to 42 in the Stingrays league victory on Friday.
The Stingrays now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Del Lago Academy for a Ocean contest on Saturday, December 16. Coastal Academy will battle a Firebirds team coming off a 59-54 league loss to Tri-City Christian (Vista, CA). The Firebirds record now stands at 5-4.
The Frogs (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against San Diego Jewish Academy (San Diego, CA). The Lions come into the Ocean contest with a 3-5 record. In their last contest, San Diego Jewish Academy was nudged by Tri-City Christian (Vista, CA), 64-34, in a league contest.
