Maryland High School Basketball - Fort Hill holds off Keyser
January 31, 2024: Cumberland, MD 21502 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Fort Hill Sentinels (Cumberland, MD) and the visiting Keyser Golden Tornado (Keyser, WV), saw Fort Hill's basketball squad hold off Keyser by a tally of 63-59.
With the victory, Fort Hill improves its record to 12-3 on the campaign. The Sentinels travel to GVCS Broadfording (Hagerstown, MD) to confront the Lions in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 1. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 5-20. GVCS Broadfording lost 81-40 in their recent non-league challenge against Southern (Oakland, MD)
Next up, the Golden Tornado confront the Allegany Campers (Cumberland, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 2. Keyser will attempt to improve on its 5-9 season record. The Campers come into the challenge with a 12-4 record after their 66-45 league win over Mountain Ridge (Frostburg, MD).
