In Friday's league match, the visiting Fort Hill Sentinels basketball team scored a decisive 69-40 triumph over the Mountain Ridge Miners.

In their next game, the Sentinels face the Northern Huskies (Accident, MD) in a Appalachian match, on Monday, January 8. Fort Hill will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Huskies enter the match with a 4-4 record after their 66-27 non-league win over Rockwood (Rockwood, PA).
