Stevens Falcons (San Antonio, TX) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Taft Raiders (San Antonio, TX), 73-49 in a league bout.

With the win, Stevens upgrades its record to 17-12 on the season. The Falcons travel to Brennan (San Antonio, TX) to clash with the Bears in a 6A Region IV District 29 bout on Saturday, February 3. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 24-4. Brennan won 69-34 in their recent league bout against Warren (San Antonio, TX)

Next up, the Raiders clash with the Sotomayor WILDCATS (San Antonio, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 29 bout, on Saturday, February 3. Taft will attempt to upgrade on its 7-22 season record. The WILDCATS go into the bout with a 14-15 record after their 72-69 league loss to Harlan (San Antonio, TX).
