In Wednesday's league match, the visiting Covington Chargers basketball team scored a tight 37-33 triumph over the Craigmont Chiefs.

In their next game, the Chargers meet the Munford Cougars (Munford, TN) in a 3A District 15 match, on Friday, February 2. Covington will attempt to better on its 9-14 season record. The Cougars enter the match with a 5-8 record after their 56-27 league loss to Millington Central (Millington, TN).
