Maryland High School Basketball - Gerstell Academy overwhelms Maryvale Prep
January 31, 2024: Brooklandville, MD 21022 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Gerstell Academy (Finksburg, MD) and the host Maryvale Prep (Brooklandville, MD), saw Gerstell Academy's basketball squad wallop Maryvale Prep by a tally of 44-18.
With the victory, Gerstell Academy improves its record to 11-7 on the campaign. The travel to Severn School (Severna Park, MD) to play the Admirals in a IAAM B challenge on Friday, February 2. The Admirals come into the challenge with a record of 12-6. Severn School lost 43-28 in their recent league challenge against John Carroll (Bel Air, MD)
Next up, the play the Concordia Prep Saints (Towson, MD) in a IAAM B challenge, on Friday, February 2. Maryvale Prep will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Saints come into the challenge with a 4-14 record after their 42-35 league loss to Garrison Forest (Owings Mills, MD).
