Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Hoover Patriots (Fresno, CA) and the host Torres Toros (Madera, CA), saw Hoover's basketball squad hold off Torres by a tally of 52-49.

With the victory, Hoover improves its record to 13-11 on the campaign. The Patriots host Roosevelt (Fresno, CA) to confront the Rough Riders in a North Yosemite challenge on Friday, February 2. The Rough Riders come into the challenge with a record of 16-7. Roosevelt won 58-35 in their recent league challenge against Madera South (Madera, CA)
