January 31, 2024: Milton, PA 17847 The Midd-West Mustangs basketball team (Middleburg, PA), was toppled 50-31 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Milton Black Panthers (Milton, PA)
The Black Panthers now possess a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Warrior Run for a Heartland III battle on Friday, February 2. Milton will confront a Defenders team coming off a 51-9 league win over Southern Columbia Area (Catawissa, PA). The Defenders record now stands at 9-8.
The Mustangs (1-17) will now prepare for their battle against Central Columbia (Bloomsburg, PA). The Bluejays come into the Heartland II battle with a 19-1 record. In their last battle, Central Columbia beat Shamokin Area (Coal Township, PA), 38-37, in a league battle.
