The Gilroy Mustangs basketball team (Gilroy, CA), was overwhelmed 57-36 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting Live Oak Acorns (Morgan Hill, CA)

The Acorns now possess a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Leland for a battle on Friday, February 2. Live Oak will confront a Chargers team coming off a 45-37 league loss to Ann Sobrato (Morgan Hill, CA). The Chargers record now stands at 11-5.

The Mustangs (5-15) will now prepare for their battle against Silver Creek (San Jose, CA). The Raiders come into the battle with a 5-12 record.
