Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Pioneer Mustangs (San Jose, CA) and the visiting Gilroy Mustangs (Gilroy, CA), saw Pioneer's basketball squad overcome Gilroy by a tally of 63-44.

With the victory, Pioneer improves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Live Oak (Morgan Hill, CA) to confront the Acorns in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 16.
