Minnesota High School Basketball - Alexandria bests Sauk Rapids-Rice

The Alexandria Cardinals basketball team scored 101 points and limited the visiting Sauk Rapids-Rice Storm to 88 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Friday.

The Cardinals now possess a 13-3 record. They play next when they travel to Delano for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 4. Alexandria will confront a Tigers team coming off a 71-45 non-league win over Owatonna (Owatonna, MN). The Tigers record now stands at 8-9.

With the loss, Sauk Rapids-Rice falls to 12-5 on the campaign. The Storm host Brainerd (Brainerd, MN) to confront the Warriors in a AAAA Section 8 game on Thursday, February 6. The Warriors go into the game with a record of 6-8.
