February 25, 2025: St. Cloud, MN 56303 The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Sauk Rapids-Rice Storm (Sauk Rapids, MN) and the host Apollo Eagles (St. Cloud, MN), observed Sauk Rapids-Rice's basketball team overwhelm Apollo by a score of 92-63.
The Storm (18-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Rocori (Cold Spring, MN). The Spartans come into the non-league challenge with a 6-17 record. In their last challenge, Rocori was routed by Willmar (Willmar, MN), 74-61, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Sartell-St. Stephen Sabres (Sartell, MN) in a AAAA Section 8 challenge, on Friday, February 28. Apollo will attempt to improve on its 12-10 season record. The Sabres come into the challenge with a 13-11 record after their 61-53 league loss to St. Michael-Albertville (Albertville, MN).
