The Amherst County Lancers basketball squad (Amherst, VA), was crushed 83-23 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Glass Hilltoppers (Lynchburg, VA)

With the victory, Glass advances its record to 13-3 on the year. The Hilltoppers travel to Brookville (Lynchburg, VA) to meet the Bees in a Seminole battle on Tuesday, February 4. The Bees enter the battle with a record of 4-13. Brookville lost 78-48 in their recent league battle against Liberty (Bedford, VA)

The Lancers now own a 1-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Heritage for a Seminole battle on Tuesday, February 4. Amherst County will meet a Pioneers squad coming off a 61-58 league win over Liberty Christian (Lynchburg, VA). The Pioneers record now stands at 10-6.
