Coolidge Bears (Coolidge, AZ) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Globe Tigers (Globe, AZ), 62-50 in a league match.

With the victory, Coolidge upgrades its record to 21-7 on the year. The Bears host Florence (Florence, AZ) to face the Gophers in a 3A Central challenge on Tuesday, February 4. The Gophers come into the challenge with a record of 22-2. Florence won 77-64 in their recent non-league challenge against ALA - West Foothills (Waddell, AZ)

In their next game, the Tigers battle the Seton Catholic Sentinels (Chandler, AZ) in a 3A Central challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. Globe will attempt to better on its 14-12 season record. The Sentinels come into the challenge with a 13-13 record after their 94-32 league loss to Valley Christian (Chandler, AZ).
