New York High School Basketball - Coxsackie-Athens can't hold off Maple Hill
January 31, 2025: Coxsackie, NY 12051 Maple Hill Wildcats (Castleton on Hudson, NY) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Coxsackie-Athens Riverhawks (Coxsackie, NY), 62-55 in a league match.
With the victory, Maple Hill upgrades its record to 10-5 on the year. The Wildcats host Watervliet (Watervliet, NY) to face the Cannoneers in a Section 2 Patroon match on Tuesday, February 4. The Cannoneers enter the match with a record of 10-4. Watervliet won 57-28 in their recent league match against Chatham (Chatham, NY)
The Riverhawks now sport a 4-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rensselaer for a Section 2 Patroon match on Tuesday, February 4.
