In Friday's league test, the Valley Vikings (Albuquerque, NM) basketball squad knocked off the host Del Norte Knights (Albuquerque, NM), by a score of 62-48.

Next, the Vikings encounter the Bernalillo Spartans (Bernalillo, NM) in a 4A District 6 test, on Tuesday, February 4. Valley will attempt to improve on its 9-11 season record. The Spartans come into the test with a 8-13 record after their 74-42 league loss to Albuquerque Academy (Albuquerque, NM).
