Virginia High School Basketball - South County overwhelms Fairfax

January 31, 2025: Lorton, VA 22079

The South County Stallions basketball team scored 70 points and limited the visiting Fairfax Lions to 49 in the Stallions league triumph on Friday.

The Stallions now possess a 11-6 record. They play next when they travel to West Springfield for a District 4 game on Tuesday, February 4. South County will play a Spartans team coming off a 53-51 league win over Lake Braddock (Burke, VA). The Spartans record now stands at 7-11.

With the loss, Fairfax falls to 8-11 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Robinson (Fairfax, VA) to play the Rams in a District 4 game on Monday, February 3. The Rams go into the game with a record of 12-6. Robinson won 65-37 in their recent league game against Alexandria City (Alexandria, VA)
