Virginia High School Basketball - Fairfax victorious over West Springfield

January 28, 2025: Fairfax, VA 22030

In Tuesday's league contest, the host Fairfax Lions basketball team scored a good 52-40 triumph over the West Springfield Spartans.

The Lions (8-10) will now prepare for their contest against South County (Lorton, VA). The Stallions go into the District 4 contest with a 10-6 record. In their last contest, South County was topped by West Potomac (Alexandria, VA), 58-47, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Spartans battle the Lake Braddock Bruins (Burke, VA) in a District 4 contest, on Friday, January 31. West Springfield will attempt to better on its 6-11 season record. The Bruins go into the contest with a 8-9 record after their 70-56 non-league loss to Langley (McLean, VA).
