In Friday's league contest, the host Westside Warriors basketball team scored a big 95-55 win over the Gosnell Pirates.

The Warriors (12-3) will now prepare for their contest against Brookland (Brookland, AR). The Bearcats come into the 4A Region 3 contest with a 8-11 record. In their last bout, Brookland was ripped by Blytheville (Blytheville, AR), 70-58, in a league bout.

With the loss, Gosnell falls to 6-8 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Wynne (Wynne, AR) to play the Yellowjackets in a non-league bout on Monday, February 3. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a record of 3-12.
