Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Juniata Valley overwhelms Moshannon Valley
January 31, 2025: Alexandria, PA 16611 The Juniata Valley Hornets basketball team scored 73 points and limited the visiting Moshannon Valley Black Knights/Damsels to 50 in the Hornets league triumph on Friday.
The Hornets now have a 7-10 record. They play next when they travel to Williamsburg for a Inter County - North game on Tuesday, February 4. Juniata Valley will confront a Blue Pirates team coming off a 53-48 league win over Glendale (Flinton, PA). The Blue Pirates record now stands at 11-7.
With the loss, Moshannon Valley falls to 5-14 on the campaign. The Black knights/damsels host Curwensville (Curwensville, PA) to confront the Golden Tide in a Moshannon Valley game on Tuesday, February 4. The Golden Tide go into the game with a record of 5-12. Curwensville lost 75-54 in their recent non-league game against Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy (Boalsburg, PA)
