The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Glendale Vikings (Flinton, PA) and the visiting Moshannon Valley Black Knights/Damsels (Houtzdale, PA), observed Glendale's basketball team overcome Moshannon Valley by a margin of 51-41.

The Vikings (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Northern Bedford County (Loysburg, PA). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Northern Bedford County dropped by Southern Fulton (Warfordsburg, PA), 46-35, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Black Knights/Damsels battle the Southern Huntingdon County Rockets (Three Springs, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 16. Moshannon Valley will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record. The Rockets come into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 67-59 league win over Claysburg-Kimmel (Claysburg, PA).
