North Carolina High School Basketball - Winston-Salem Prep sneaks past Piedmont Classical

The Winston-Salem Prep Phoenix (Winston-Salem, NC) basketball edged the host Piedmont Classical Bobcats (Browns Summit, NC), 40-35 in Friday's league bout.

The Phoenix now possess a 11-7 record. They play next when they travel to College Prep & Leadership Academy for a 1A Northwest Piedmont bout on Tuesday, February 4. Winston-Salem Prep will play a Royals team coming off a 63-55 league loss to Bishop McGuinness (Kernersville, NC). The Royals record now stands at 16-3.

With the loss, Piedmont Classical falls to 6-9 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Bishop McGuinness (Kernersville, NC) to play the Villains in a 1A Northwest Piedmont bout on Monday, February 3. The Villains go into the bout with a record of 16-2. Bishop McGuinness won 63-55 in their recent league bout against College Prep & Leadership Academy (Jamestown, NC)
