Oregon High School Basketball - Willamette knocks off Grants Pass
January 31, 2025: Grants Pass, OR 97526 The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Willamette Wolverines (Eugene, OR) and the host Grants Pass Cavemen (Grants Pass, OR), observed Willamette's basketball team overcome Grants Pass by a margin of 51-43.
The Wolverines (14-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Sheldon (Eugene, OR). The Irish come into the 6A Southwest challenge with a 10-8 record. In their last challenge, Sheldon dropped by North Medford (Medford, OR), 52-34, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Cavemen battle the Roseburg Indians (Roseburg, OR) in a 6A Southwest challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. Grants Pass will attempt to better on its 13-4 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 5-11 record after their 45-27 league win over South Eugene (Eugene, OR).
