With the victory, Willamette advances its record to 17-5 on the year. The Wolverines travel to South Medford (Medford, OR) to face the Panthers in a 6A Southwest match on Friday, February 14. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 16-3. South Medford won 64-34 in their recent league match against Grants Pass (Grants Pass, OR)
The Axe now own a 5-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Medford for a 6A Southwest match on Friday, February 14. South Eugene will face a Black Tornado squad coming off a 47-43 league loss to Roseburg (Roseburg, OR). The Black Tornado record now stands at 6-12.
