Washington High School Basketball - Nooksack Valley toppled by Squalicum
January 31, 2025: Bellingham, WA 98226 Squalicum Storm (Bellingham, WA) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Nooksack Valley Pioneers (Everson, WA), 39-30 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Squalicum upgrades its record to 10-3 on the year. The Storm host Sehome (Bellingham, WA) to face the Mariners in a non-league match on Wednesday, February 5. The Mariners enter the match with a record of 2-14. Sehome lost 38-24 in their recent non-league match against Bellingham (Bellingham, WA)
The Pioneers now sport a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oak Harbor for a non-league match on Monday, February 3. Nooksack Valley will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 54-16 non-league loss to Anacortes (Anacortes, WA). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-10.
