Washington High School Basketball - Mark Morris holds off Hockinson
January 31, 2025: Brush Prairie, WA 98606 The Mark Morris Monarchs basketball team scored 74 points and limited the host Hockinson Hawks to 69 in the Monarchs non-league triumph on Friday.
The Monarchs now have a 16-3 record. They play next when they host Washougal for a non-league game on Wednesday, February 5. Mark Morris will confront a Panthers team coming off a 40-28 non-league loss to Ridgefield (Ridgefield, WA). The Panthers record now stands at 11-5.
With the loss, Hockinson falls to 1-15 on the campaign. The Hawks host Heritage (Vancouver, WA) to confront the Timberwolves in a non-league game on Monday, February 3. The Timberwolves go into the game with a record of 7-12. Heritage lost 64-57 in their recent non-league game against Prairie (Vancouver, WA)
