The Walled Lake Northern Knights (Commerce, MI) basketball knocked off the host Mott Corsairs (Waterford, MI), 61-52 in Tuesday's league test.

The Knights (3-3) will now prepare for their test against Walled Lake Western (Walled Lake, MI). The Warriors go into the Lakes Valley test with a 2-0 record.

The Corsairs now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Kettering for a Lakes Valley test on Friday, January 7. Mott will encounter a Captains squad coming off a 69-61 league loss to Milford (Highland, MI). The Captains record now stands at 0-4.
