In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Monroe Redhawks basketball team scored a good 37-20 triumph over the Anson Bearcats.

In their next game, the Redhawks meet the Central Eagles (Pageland, SC) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, January 5. Monroe will attempt to move on its 8-3 season record. The Eagles enter the match with a 1-7 record after their 60-11 league loss to Chesterfield (Chesterfield, SC).
