Ohio High School Basketball - Pymatuning Valley fells Edgewood
January 4, 2023: Andover, OH 44003 Pymatuning Valley Lakers (Andover, OH) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Edgewood Warriors (Ashtabula, OH), 76-65 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Pymatuning Valley upgrades its record to 7-1 on the season. The Lakers travel to Jefferson Area (Jefferson, OH) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 7. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 6-3. Jefferson Area lost 47-44 in their recent league bout against Girard (Girard, OH)
Next up, the Warriors play the West Geauga Wolverines (Chesterland, OH) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 7. Edgewood will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Wolverines go into the bout with a 5-6 record after their 71-33 non-league win over North (Akron, OH).
