Edgewood Warriors (Ashtabula, OH) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Conneaut Spartans (Conneaut, OH), 65-52 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Edgewood upgrades its record to 13-9 on the season. The Warriors host West Branch (Beloit, OH) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 21. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 14-9. West Branch won 63-33 in their recent non-league bout against Waterloo (Atwater, OH)

Next up, the Spartans play the Grand Valley Mustangs (Orwell, OH) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 17. Conneaut will attempt to upgrade on its 5-16 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 6-15 record after their 57-56 league win over Berkshire (Burton, OH).
