Harmony Area Owls (Westover, PA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Moshannon Valley Black Knights/Damsels (Houtzdale, PA), 67-52 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Harmony Area upgrades its record to 6-1 on the season. The Owls travel to Blacklick Valley (Nanty Glo, PA) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Friday, January 6. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 3-5. Blacklick Valley lost 61-53 in their recent non-league bout against Purchase Line (Commodore, PA)

Next up, the Black Knights/Damsels play the Glendale Vikings (Flinton, PA) in a Moshannon Valley bout, on Thursday, January 5. Moshannon Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record.
